Chronicals of Sleep... or something

So okay, this morning I had a chem test bright and early. I even got up a full hour before class so I could study. If you know me I usually roll out of bed half an hour before class starts, throw clothes on grab a breakfast bar and some juice, and arrive at class exactly on time. Getting up earlier than usual for my 8:00 class is a sacrifice of my precious and beloved sleep. The test was all multiple choice and not very hard, but I really am not sure how I did either.

After I finished the test and got back to my room, I read a few chapters of Confessions of a Shopaholic and took a nap. I set my alarm for 11:30 but I didn't feel like getting up, so I drifted in and out of a like sleep state until about 12:30. My stats class is one of those mid-afternoon type things so there wasn't any urgency to get there. I had pleanty of time to eat before heading there and arrive slightly early.

One of the residents died. She sits in my section alot too, so I actually knew who she was. Sometimes it feels good to walk home. Not saying I really like walking, in fact I practically detest walking, but forced into it, at times it can be pleasent. Walking is probably the only thing that has saved me from gaining weight from teh way I eat. Anything can be a blessing in disguise. "Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances..."

So much

The weather yesterday and the weather today have been beautiful and this makes me happy!! I have a test in like 15 min for my geography class. I am not sure I am ready, but I hope I am. Last night I kinda tired, but I suppose I perked up cause I was awake until 4:45am and I wasn't studying either. My puter went to rest at a decent time, so it wasn't me online doing whatever. I was either on the phone, or reading. I talked to two peopel on the phone last night for a while each, then I hoppedinto bed by 12:45. I read and entire book!!! (That just goes to show it was a delicioulsy fluffly book with not a whole ton of content) But I enjoyed it all the same. So yeah, I took a nap this afternoon and yikes, I have a test realy soon. :goes to study:

Rain, rain on my face, it won't stop raining for days

So it has been raining on and off the whole day, but mostly on. It wasn't too bad, but still walking through it and getting damp is not my favorite pastime. Mondays are mall days with Jessie, so it wasn't as unpleasent to walk in the rain if I had had to do it alone, or even if it had been raining much harder. The forcast for the next few days doesn't look to good. More rain on the way with only about 2 days of sun for the entire week. I know the saying goes "April showers bring May flowers", but it isn't quite April yet and I just wish I could have some niiice warm weather.

I haven't eaten dinner yet and it is already almost 9:00pm. I should really dash on over to the dinning hall and grab some grub.

It is actually quite easy to post pictures as I have now discovered. This is a picture of a yellow rose that was randomly sitting around on the floor. Posted by Hello

Twas the day before Easter...

We went to Chick-fila for breakfast this morning because we had some cupons for free food. I had never had breakfast there before and I find it is actually good. Everyone in the store got free cows, those cute little chick-fila stuffed cows!! Just for being there! Happy day before Easter :-D

My brother is palying Shining Force for sega genisis and since our game is slightly messed, it doesn't save, therefore in order to get to the very last levels, or even just past battle 8 out 30... he is leaving the machine on until he finishes. It is a really good game and has an interesting story line if I do say so myself.

I am taking care of the cat nextdoor for a few days and he is such an affectionatae cat!! It also pays well to take care of the cat, added bonus to being able to see more cats. The cat nextdoor is friends with out one cat. It is kinda funny, sometimes you will see them together if they are outside at the same time. I love my cats so much, really I do.

Homes Sweet Homes

As spontanious as I am, I actually spent Tuesday night at my second house, whith my second set of family. I do that every so often, usually when I end up at the house and really tired. Trust me I was tired because I laughed at the silliest things and I had trouble standing. That is not all I did though. Two of my friends have a class together on Tuesday, and although I am on Spring Break, they are not. Incidentally I went to class with them and had a very interesting experience, gaining first hand knowledge of what they are always talking about. Appearently the teacher did not show his evil side while I was there though.

So amazingly enough, I have had adventures, and I have not been cleaning 24/7 like I think I soon might be. Our electricity went out for a few minutes yesterday and that was interesting. It was still a little bit light outside and it had just stopped raining like a minute before the electricity went out. How odd is that?

About today... well it is yet early in the day and I slept in later than usual so there really isn't much to say. My brother yet sleeps which I think is for the best. The longer he sleeps the more "free time" I have.

Monday, March 21, 2005

Oh wait... yeah, this is relaxing.

So I was going to post yesterday but I early got 3 sentances out before my brother was begging to use the computer and leaning over my shoulder. I hate peopel leaning over my shoulder, an even worse still he sometimes tries to sit on my lap and type random messages to my friends on aim while holdig my hands. You can see why I am rarly on aim and don't dare type here with him around, for I know something would end up screwy.

We will most likely be having Easter at our house ths year. A huge "oh no!" because that means I really be put to work as slave house cleaner as I feared. Sihj it all. I need to go to the library too, and of course petsmart.

The stories I could tell of each day that passes... Sunday was semi-full. Both my brother and my mother are suffering from what they belive to be a flu. I don't want to get sick!! Despite feeling sick and staying home from church, Nate went "out to lunch" with me and Bec. I can not say much more about that cause it is :looks around to make sure no one is watching: classified information.

Oh and one last thing. I found out Saturday, that the only reason I stated this blog was because my brother tried to change my password as some kind of experiment and never told me. How much more do I need to say on that? :glares: younger siblings...

Lameness and Work

So here I am back again for the third time today... I don't quit do I? Well now I am home, and one of the first things I did was to check what mail I got. I got a check like I knew I would and guess what I realized!?!?! I make $7 an hour. In fact, I have been doing so for a few paychecks now. I also realized that I worked on a holiday (President's day) and I actually got time and a half ($10.50 per hour) and it seemed to make absolutely no differance in the amount my check was for. I work for beans brothers and sisters! I do not get paid enough to do much of anything. I am tired of feeling broke, but at present moment, there is nothing I can do about it. Hey look on the bright side, I got something free in the mail!! Plus my mother made farfalle recently so I ate her very yummy leftovers which she so kindly warmed up in the mircowave for me!!! I love my mother, really I do.

My brohter left the blue pixie powder he made right by the computer... mmm... don't mind if I have some. It was my kool-aid afterall. Sugar is addicting. Well, if you dont' know almost every detail of my day by now... just kidding, there are a few things I haven't mentioned, but I shall leave it that way lest no one ever talk to me because they have already heard everythign I have to say.

It's seem's I can't help it...

I seem to want to blog multiple times in one day, and while this is not nessessarilly a problem... it makes me wonder if I should just wait until the end of the day. But if I did that, I would loose all the little thought bubbles that pop in my head throughout the day that I want to share, thus ending with me writing almost nothing of consequence. Yet here I am writing in this silly thing once again when I should be packing school books, changing my sheets, or one of a dozen other such activites.

School: I have tests right after I come back from Spring Break, so books are being hauled around for me to study from. Chem lab was short today and we got out of there pretty fast. I feel as though I let my partner Adam do most of the work, only adding minor contributions such as the calculator I carry around constantly, but he doesn't seem to mind. I guess there are a few very small upsides to working with one of the male species (the only one in our lab class besides the teacher).

Packing... how much does one girl need for a single week? Besides that I have cothes at home already that I leave there purposely for when I go home. I have most of my clothes packed, although knowing me I will take everything out and repack it while doing inventory of what really needs to be in my bag. Speaking of packing... :goes to pack:

I have got to say the quiz results (posted below) , didn't give me the most flattering results, but then again... they aren't always truly the most representative things in the world either.

P.S.

I am sorry about the way the formatting on my blog looks kinda funny. If you can see the picture that was in one of my posts a coupl days ago, you notice that it is very wide, therefore it messes up the way things look slightly.

I was in the library the other day and I picked up a book idlely because the spine cought my eye. Upon reading the back I noticed one of the main character's had my name! You can't beat reading about a fictional character with your name... it is kinda interesting to see what kind of character is given to someone with your own name. So far it is a good book, but once we are finish I will be able to tell more fully. The book I was reading previously, I ended up staying awake until close to 3:30am to finish ast night/this morning. I know, I am bad beacuse I should have been sleeping so I could stay awake more easilly in my 8:00 class. But staying awake this morning wasn't bad because as I think I already mentioned, we watched a movie. I took a nice luciourious nap after class to make up for my late night.

Kiss Me, I'm Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

I want to wish everyone a beautiful day filled with wonderful things like corned beef and cabbage. Mmmm... corned beef and cabbage!! It is my roomie's B-day, but I have not seen her yet cause she had to go to a funeral this morning. I am soo gonna be late for class if I keep typing, but then again, who wants to go to stats anyways?? This morning in chemistry we watched the movie SuperSize Me. I had only seen bits and peices of it before now, so seeing a substancial portion of it made me happy. I ate lunch with Jessie and we ate some nice Irish food. It was sooo good. I think I am wearing enough green to be a leprachan and proud of it.

The Brick Wall

I am in stats class wondering what I did wrong again. I was haveing a good, abate, long day and I didn't want to come to class. I got back my test today and again when I expected a B, I fell short. I ended up with a C after the grades were curved slightly. I can't wait for next week, because that is Spring Break. Where do I go from here?

I am still peeved that I broke a nail at work last night too! Work is makng me apathtic. I feel like I have said this before, but I am saying it again. I know now why I read, I need to escape my own reality and and wander into a world where I can think on someone elses problems. Amazingly, sometimes thier problems are similar to mine.

You've no idea what I've got to do

Busy, busy... that is what this day looks like. I am sitting in my only break for the day. I am gonna go to the mall with Jessie later, after my class, and that should be fun. Too bad the really cute guy doesn't work at power gamer on Mondays, but there is a decently nice looking guy who works every Monday. Soon he will get to know us, the girls who make weekly trips to buy gaming essentials... well at least Jessie does the buying, I don't own any game systems personally (unless you count computers). We have a PS2 at home, so my little brother is the one who dictates the games bought in our family due to his postion as primary player of games. But yeah, I have classes and work today as well as doing fun stuff.

Days fly bye

"Day is done, gone the sun, from the lakes, from the hills, from the sky. All is well, safely resyt, God is nigh." Today I went to Smoothie King with Kathy and we both got Hulk smoothies. Mine was strawberry flavored and really good! When I read the ingredients I was slightly skeptical, however, I was convinced to try it and not dissapointed. Another high point of the day: getting to pet a cat!! As you might be able to tell I am slightly hyper *coughwhataunderstatementcough*. The cat was soo cute and she licked me with her little sandpapery tounge!! Can anyone say AWWW! to that?

Work tonight was work. For once I wasn't in section 6 because Peter didn't want to be in 11, so we switched. I blame my hyperness on Holly. She bought me a can of soda after work, and she was acting a little girlish and she was speeding slightly while driving me home. Can anyone say addrennaline? and AHHH, don't kill me!? So yeah... I am out for the night.

Your Beauty lies in
Intelligence. Logical, wise and a book-worm. You
have a mature beauty and

on your logic to solve all
your or anyone else's problems, which is a bit of a
two-sided coin. The fact
makes you seem rather emotionless and cold to some
people. Not everything can be
solved with logic. Despite it, many come to you for
advice and love how
smart you are, wondering if there is anything you
don't know. You probably don't
wear much make-up as it distracts you from your
studies, but you may wear a pair
of glasses just because you like how you look in
them, whether you need them or
not. For the most part, your looks mean little to

attractive, especially when you're concentrated on
something. Good for you. Now

Mmmm... Movies!

I watched both Lilo and Stitch and The Princess Bride a few hours ago. I love watching movies especially if I have someone to watch them with and they are just good movies besides. On the Lilo and Stitch movie, in the special features section, there is a part on hula danceing. That part got veiwed twice... after all I am going to a hawian themed party on Sunday.

I took a test in stats on Thursday (now yesterday on account of it being past midnight and all) and by my estimation I should get an 89% Of course that is if I didn't make any stupid mistakes other than the questions I was unsure about. Knowing me, I am sure there were some silly mistakes, but even then I hope for a nice phat B.

"If it is meant to be, you find yourself with that person again somewhere down the line....." <---This was in someone's profile, and ya know, I liked it. Therefore I thought I would share it. So yeah... contemplate that.

Other annoying things

Hamsters! Will someone please let me know if you can sell hamsters on ebay!!! My roomie's boyfriend called at mindnight to remind her that she hadn't called him before she went to sleep. At midnight both me and her were fast asleep. I had been sleeping for about half an hour, but it felt like longer. Needless to say I we both woke up. Soon after she gets off the phone Fuzzbutt decides he is hyper and makes lots of noise with the wheel in his cage. I try and fix the wheel so it doesn't make noise and I will be able to sleep, but when I do that, the vicious hamster bites me on the finger hard enough to make me bleed... yet again! Hamsters are a waste of engery and money especially when they stink and you ignore them most the time anyways.

Patterns of habit

My days are beginning to feel almost the same, all blended into one another. Mondays and Wednesdays are both becomming the same drill of get up, class, take a nap, class, lunch, chill, work, eat, sit at the puter, sleep. Thursdays are similar too. I stay up late reading and catch up on sleep the next day in naps, where consequently I often have weird dreams. I am sure this is doing a number on my system and mesing up sleep patterns or something, but oh well. The fact is I do sleep.

I had cotton candy ice cream today, a weird but interestingly not that bad flavor. As you can see, life is dull unless something unusuall happens. If the best things I can think to write about are sleep andice cream... :shakes head and frowns: I suppose that's it then, unless something happens tonight at work.

Poor Jane is Dead

There was a girl banging on the door of the quad for like 2 minutes and constant banging annoys me. I go out to let her in when WHAM! I get assassinated by a guy who someone let in. I was pissed because I was orginially annoyed by the girl who continually beat her fists against the door, but then she was also the intrament of my downfall (death). At least Katheryn is still alive. I ate dinner with her an Michelle. Sigh... what a sad fate. I will no longer dwell on it lest more brain cells die in my hysterical anger. I got some new music on my puter, so that makes me happy, poor slow puter that I have. Alas the day is done and I too must rest in peace.

Last Resort

I have not been able to get into my yahoo account since yesterday afternoon because it is being ghetto. I really wanted to blog and haven't been able, so this was my solution.

The other night I was awakened in the middle of the night by 2 girls in my quad screaming at eachother at 2:45am. That was highly annoying. From what I could hear it sounded like one girl was changing when her roomate walked in with a guy. That is a decent reason to be pissed, but at 2:45am when everyone else is sleeping, you actually have to scream at the top of your lungs at your roomate for a full 15 minutes? In addition I am playing assassins and I am now looking behind my back every few seconds like someone is comming to get me. Slightly peranoid, but not too bad.

I got my anatomy tests back today. In lab I failed the test just like I suspected. In lecture I was expecting a B because I felt I had done well... I got a D+. I think I just might cry because this is sooo not right. I am dissapointed like someone has taken away my hope for ever passing the class. In addition the wether has been weird, first raining, then snowing as it got colder, so that there are icicles of snow on the grass. Well my next class calls, hope that I stay awake and alive.
