The Tiger

Okay, so the lame title comes from me eating a sandwich named "the tiger" (which was pretty good by the way). I am hyper right now. Since I haven't written in a while I will metion some of the events that stick out in my mind about what has happened since last I wrote: snow, Thanksgiving, shooting, and group projects. I have an entire rant about why I hate group projects, but I have told it to enough people that I don't feel like repeating it once more.

Deviled eggs and wha?

Okay, so I was at work tonight and one of the appetizers for the night was deviled eggs. We don't have deviled eggs every night being as that there are the same people eating in the dinning room night after night and the menu's run in something like a 4 week schedual. So tonight we had deviled eggs, and a few people at my one table ordered them. Nothing unusual yet. One lady after ordering her deviled eggs states she wants italian vinagarette dressing to put on them. I kid you not. So I bring her out the deviled eggs and italian dressing in a small plastic cup thinngy. Darned it all if she didn't pour itiallian dressing over her deviled eggs and proceed to eat them with a fork and knife! This same lady also when ordering her entree declaired she wanted red sauce with it. Huh? red sauce? After a few minutes pause she remembers the red sauce she wants is call ketchup. I don't know where she is from origanlly (she did have an accent) but they sure have some strage ways of eating things, me thinks.

It is a bit odd, I was somewhat bored tonight with 2 tables equaling five peopel total, where as Sunday I was able to keep myself occupied with two tables equaling a total of three people. Meh.

School and drool

If there is one thing I dislike, it is group projects. It is so hard to find time for everyone to meet up and there are almost always things left until last minute. Even I am guilty of procrastination at times, but there is nothign like a group project to find out just how astudious or lazy other people in your class are. We had a few group presentations in my one class today which were actualy pretty decent. I even got out of class early and was able to meet friends for dinner. Sigh, it was a rainy day.

I am so happy that the Thanksgiving holiday is comming up soon. It dosen't mean I get out of doing homework that may be due right after break, but at least it is a breather from classes. I am sure the time off wil fly by all to fast and I will find I have accomplished less than I thought I would. There is at least one day of good food, lol.

On a lighter note, I had a pretty good weekend and even went shopping. I only came in last place one out of seven races Saturday with my little Vic, which I think is somewhat of an accomplishment.

Mythical creature quiz

Pegasus Banner
You're a pegasus. You're very calm and loving.
Something about you makes others want to get
close to you, whether or not you feel the same
way about them. You don't bond to others
easily, but when you do it's long-lasting. Your
alignment is *good*, but not so much that you
can't have fun.

What mythical beast are you?

Sing to me

I went to see Celtic Women over the weekend and I really enjoyed it. The performance was wonderful and the people I went with made it all that much more enjoyable. Overall, I'd say I had a great weekend. Between getting to pet and hold little kittens, seeing friends, family and the like, going to the concert, watching movies, and just chilling, I sure had fun.

They are re-doing the locker rooms at work, so right now there are still lockers, but they have been cleaned out. I sincerly hope they replace all the lockers because goodness knows we need it, however the likelyhood we will actually get new lockers, despite high hopes and future promises, seems slim somehow.

D, if you would like to mark this as a semi historic moment, I am drinking pepsi. ;)

Pride and Predjudice

Last night I went with 3 friends to see the new version of Pride and Predjudice in the theatre, and I really liked it. We were slightly late, missing the very very beginning, but not too much. Having seen the BBC version and reading the book before made it easier to understand what was going on despite missing some. The actors did very well with the movie and I was pleased. I would definatly reccommend going to see it. I might very well see it a second time in theatres.

It is now offically the weekend for me! Well, practically. I took a test in my only class this morning... can't say it went well, but it wasn't too bad. I almost missed seeing the very first question on the test, but I know I aswered it wrong anyways so... I just hope I did well on the rest.

BSing it... sigh

So... I have desprately tried to conjur up some significant BS for a particular class of mine. I am not sure how great it is yet, though it falls short of my expectations. I am really starting to resent the class. For my other class, I looked up the grade for the lab exam I took last Tuesday and I did pretty good for me. There is hope that I shall pass the class with a C, though my hopes still aren't super high. Sihj, school is frustrating.

Well now...

I think I did okay on my lab exam this morning despite all the worrying and stress. It is the first day of a new month and a beautiful day at that.

Work went fine, not a bad night, not a really great night either, but a decent night. Speaking of work... the pumpkin I decorated received 3ed place (out of like 10 pumpkins).

D, thanks for helping me with "Bob" on Saturday.

It seems I make good memories on the weekends. :D

Good luck to all those who began Nanoing today... I wish you well.
