It's Christmas time again...

So yesterday was Christmas, and it was an enjoyable day with family and all.

Much stress goes into a holiday, and we ate ham for dinner... or rather my family did. I am not a very big fan of ham. Don't get me wrong, I like bacon and pork, just not ham.

Meh?

Batty

Oh my!! I just touched a live bat with my finger!!!! *Freaks* (I abruptly washed my hands... twice). There was a bat on our hall floor in a shadow, I thought it was a leaf. Oh golly, I thought it was a leaf and I was going to throw away the stray leaf that was bugging me. There was like blood on the floor too that I could see once I turned on the hall light. It was sooo not cool. I sincerly hope one of the cats did not mess with the bat, although that is more than likely. The hall now smells like bleach. Dad, thankfully, was able to scoup the bat up and get him outside... but still, oh my.

BTW

By the way... YAY! for being finsihed all my exams. :D

There is always hope.

*jumps up and down with joyful abandon*

Addiction

Okay, so I play too much minesweeper. I play it while I am supposed to be studying, while I am on the phone, listening to music, and whenever there is a span of free time long enough. My mouse automatically follows the path from the start button to the programs to accessories to games and finds itself opening another game in hopes of beating my previous time records. Somehow there is a sort of fun challenge in it all...

Down to the line

Finals week: stress galore. This is the time for dread and mourning bad grades, or rejoicing at getting the letter you wanted. Either way, there is stress in taking the exams which decide your final score. I am finished 2 finals and have 2 left to complete. I shall shout with gladness when I am home for the holidays. To pass or to fail, that is the question...

This weekend was both frustrating and fun. I saw Narnia on Friday which was really good btw, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Sat.

Fruited gelatin mold

I was at work and after the first four tables in my section were in I was starting to get bored. They were either eating dinner or waiting for dinner and everyone had coffee that wanted it. The tables had been timed nicely so that they were pretty easy to take care of, everythign is going well... enter Mr. and Mrs. R and their friend. They almost always sit in section 7 (the section I had tonight) . I know that they are usually slow eaters and a bit of a pain, however that does not excuse rudeness. One of the appetizers tonight was a friuted gelatin mold. Mrs. R asks what is in it. I reply it is red jello with fruit, but I was unsure to exactly what type of fruit it was, perhaps it was pears? (I had only glanced at it and we only have it like once a month and as it turned out it had fruit cocktail in it). Mrs. R puts her hand out and patts me on the rear end saying "It is amazing how little some of the servers know". Her tone of voice indicated no insult, but she literally dis'ed me to my face. Meanwhile I was being brained by a potted tree that was close to the table. And as for patting me on the butt... please, I don't know anyone who finds that flattering especially from someone you bearly know.

Meh, another day is done and gone is the sun... studying and sleep are yet to come.

Failure's not flattering, and it's all down hill from here.

I seriously feel like I got a 50% on the lab test I took this morning. Not good. I have few choices of clean clothing left to wear, and I need to do laundry, but when is there the time? *whine, whine, whine* This week started out better than last, but it just might be all downhill from here. The more time passes, the fewer tests left to take. How am I supposed to study fro 3 tests in the next 2 days after studying my brains out last night for a test I think I failed?

There is always something good about a week. If nothing else, Narnia comes out this week and I get to see it, and I am pretty sure we are getting our Christmas bonuses this week as well.

Say "soda"

Friday I went out to eat with some of my freinds... somehow I knocked my half full glass of coke-a-cola onto my lap. It felt so weird and it kinda looked like... well use your immagination. That was interesting, not really fun, but almost funny. Saturday I had fun and got to play with two cute cats. Apples to Apples is a fun game to play and I got to play it for a while this weekend. I can't wait for the end of the the semester.

Life = Stress

One more presentation down... unfortuantly I don't think it went so well, but it wasn't altogether horride. This has not been the greatest day, although there were some decent parts. I finally got back a test I took like 3 weeks ago... wish I had done better, but meh, at least it was better than the test before it? I think I am decidedly taking A&P II again unless I miraculously do extremely well on the lab test tuesday, the lecture test Thursday and the final the week after that. Yes 3 tests for one class in 2 weeks. With exams comming up, I will be studying until the cows come home, stressing out, and altogether not quite my normal self. I can't wait until school is over for the semester.

Despite how I can't wait until Winter break, I am not quite ready for Christmas. It seems so many palces are already playing Christmas music... Okay, so today is December 1, however... Lol, I got a Christmas present yesterday. :D
