This thing called school

So here I am back at school again. I checked how much damage my books for next semester are gonna do to my purse... and it isn't as bad as it could be. For my one class it looks as though I only need one decently inexpensive book, for my second class I already have the book, for a third class I can borrow some of the required books from my roomie, so that leaves one class in which I will have to buy an expensive book. Woohoo, lucky semester.

I have classes tomorrow, or rather one class, and I will get to see some of my school friends. I have high hopes for this semester.

I had some pretty good pancakes tonight as second dinner and played bingo; had fun to escape the boredom of my room. I didn't end up winning any of the rounds of bingo, but that was okay.

Counting

If I count my life by the movies I have seen, then I can say I have recently watched Tristan and Isolde and Glory Road in theatres and enjoyed both of them. It was slightly dissapointing however, that for both movies I missed the first 1-4 minutes because we were running late.

A major undertaking on my part of late is the sewing of a dress. Yes, I am sewing a dress for myself, with the help of a friend. Hopefully it will be beautyful. I am almost halfway finished, in that the back of the dress is sewn together already, however there is still quite a bit of work to do on it.

Out with the old, in with the new...

Cleaning... I can't tell you how many bags of misolanious garbage artifacts I have filled and hauled out recently, though not from my house. I am almost inspired to go on a cleaning spree, but I have not the time and my motivation isn't quite strong enough yet.

One of my favorite brands of pizza to order carry-out from is Domino's. Mmm... I got some pizza from there today and it is pretty good stuff. I find it facinating that I can get banana peppers on my pizza if I wish, and sometimes I do. Ever since getting banana peppers on a sub one while at Subway, I have grown quite fond of banana peppers. Funny enough, I think they replaced the banana peppers at Subway with some other kind of pepper.

Randomness...

Last week I saw Memoirs of a Geisha, and it was really good. It might be more of a "girly" movie, but it is not a chick-flick. Some of the scenery and music really helped to make the movie great.
