Re-addiction and weird weather

So, now that I actually have some free time, I am doing things I have always like such as read and play games. I seriously want to play YPP so bad right now, but I can't because I have other things I need to get done. Is it sad how I want to earn poe and try to gain better standings in my puzzles? I have already spent a good deal of the morning 'catching up' on some reading for the pleasure of it. A few weeks ago I picked up Hero's of Might and Magic III Complete and started playing that. I hadn't played Hero's in prolly at least 2 years if not longer.

The weather has been crazy. One day I am wearing short sleeves, and the next I am driving home from work in the snow. Literally. I went to work yesterday while it was raining, and by the time I got out, it had sleeted and snowed a pile of nasty slush onto the roads. I feel like I drove 5 miles an hour all the way home, though in reality I think I got up to 35 on some roads where I could actually see the lane lines. Suffice to say I don't like not being able to see where I am supposed to be driving and not knowing if I will all the sudden start sliding around for no particular reason. Today just about everything on the roads has melted, though there is still a white covering over the grass. It is amazing that I like to talk about what the weather is like... I must be a boring person or something. Of course, when you have strange weather... I suppose it is permissible. ;)

In another reality

I have been trying to figure out what classes I'll take next semester and so on until I graduate. Some of the classes I 'need' to take have silly prerequisites that I hadn't noticed before, so it looks like I need to take a few more classes than I originally thought. I might have to pull an upper level credit out of thin air too. :P

Hypothetically, if I start taking one class a semester beginning next fall, I could graduate...by the time I am 33... much sooner than my original estimate of age 38 (which was sarcastic anyways...) and that doesn't count summer or winter semesters if I hypothetically chose to take any of them. However, the lowering of 5 years in the original estimate is nearly accounted for by the classes I took last semester and the ones I am taking this semester. No surprise to me, I will have accrued more than 120 credits by the time I graduate. Of course this is just my best current estimate of a complete hypothetical, which I am in no way planning on. I think it is interesting though to figure out pointless math on occasion. Perhaps this is why I haven't found accounting boring yet... well that and the teacher... she has this dry sense of humor that is actually funny.

Fleeting moments

One day life is sooo busy, and the next there is a calm sense of relaxation. This past week was stressful between working more hours than usual and trying to do homework while still finding time to sleep. This week will be a bit slower, and I welcome that change. I had a lucky break last week from one of my teachers which seriously took some stress off my shoulders, however, I wasn't yet out of the water.

My family is going through this stomach sick thing... not fun looking at all. I hope I stay healthy. *crosses fingers*

I am confused, but is it cause I try to puzzle out others and fit them into little boxes while they go and change before my eyes like chameleons? I myself don't even stay the same for long despite my bad habits (though really I haven't aged in years). Time flies and stands still almost simultaneously. Sometimes I catch myself laughing out loud at my thoughts. No one understands, because they can't see all the inner workings and connections made between seemingly irrelevant ideas. It seems I thrive on vagueness.
