It's my party...

...and I'll cry if I want to... but I don't. I had a nice day. We (my family and I) saw Fearless in the theatre tonight and it was good, a little at times, but still quite good. My whole family enjoyed it, excepting perhaps my one brother who somehow managed to fall asleep during the movie, but I think he liked what he did see of it between snore. I like the new tint to my hair... though it will take a little getting used to especially the length despite it being only about 4 inches shorter it feels like alot more. Lol, now was that a runon sentance or what? ;) Today was the first time I ever got a pedicure and it was nice. Mmmm... I kinda like this girls's day thing. I may have had a few small dissapointments for the day, but, overall... it was a great time!

Arrrr!

It be talk like a pirate day, and work was akin to beeing keel hauled. Aye, I had to deal with one too many scurvy deck rats for my liking. T'wasn't a good day for hauling in booty and forraging turned up little of use. I had to swab the deck well and good, with precious little light. Me matey's did little better than I in the days events. On the morrow I have an exam I haven't studied much for. Sihj.

Ashes to ashes

... dust to dust. Can you taste the acrid air? I don't think anyone likes to eat char, unless of course it is a thoughly blacked was-once-a-hotdog and I find that gross. *sticks out tounge and makes gagaing noises like an over-reactive six year old. Ah, we all expect to die at sometime, yet that dosen't make the prospect any more applealing. One week, one day... it all starts over.

I visited familiar palces today and yet I felt foregin; like an interloper. Familiar sights and faces have become near to meaningless and I wish them back as they were before. Another life; one I can no longer live has passed me by and I miss it to an extent. I can't stop the ever changing tide of life... what can I do? Live each day crossing my fingers and hoping for favored outcomes? I might as well take up gambling. How does one choose a positive change over a negitive, when at a distance they look so close, and when upon you it is too late.

My mind is full and I know I can't yet rest, though I so desperately want to, as I have to get up early on the morrow.

A peek

Mondays are slow, but today being the first 'Monday Night Football', it was especailly slow. My tables tipped pretty well, but I only had four total. Ouch. It is amazing how I seem to make a piddly wage for doing crossword puzzles some nights. *rolls eyes*

Sigh, "and so it goes"...

When time comes that tradition replaces what was was meant to be fun/ something of value, there is a certain realizaton that occurs, perhaps it is time for change. What better time to reevaluate then at the turn of the season? The countdown is 'ticking'. Twelve more days. The air is already changing for the cooler. It is inevitable...
